The Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standard For Private Entities (HKFRS for PE) came into effect in 2010. The main aim of the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standard For Private Entities is to target private entities that have no public accountability.
Compared to the full version of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS), they differ in a number of ways in terms of application, classification and measurement.
In this webinar, a number of examples will be adopted to illustrate the key differences between HKFRS for PE and HKFRS. The following areas will be covered - Application criteria of HKFRS for Private Entities and HKFRS - Comparison of group financial reporting and consolidation requirements - Highlight the major differences of the two standards
