Listings of new economy businesses are an accelerating trend, with numerous regulatory developments supporting these IPOs in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland capital markets.
To stay ahead of the curve, accounting professionals need to stay abreast of the latest performance and developments in global, Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland IPO markets, as well as the evolution of technology businesses and how this can be reflected in financial reporting.
In this 2-hour webinar, Edward Au will discuss the latest performance of the global, Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland IPO markets and their latest market and regulatory developments that support listings of new economy companies. Mr. Edward Au Edward Au is Southern Region Managing Partner of Deloitte China and was co-leader of Deloitte China’s National Public Offering Group. He has been a partner of Deloitte China since 2003 and has been actively involved in debt and equity offerings locally and internationally.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong and the United States, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Certified Practicing Accountant of CPA Australia, and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is a Council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and sits on its Audit Committee, and Registration & Practising Committee, and is Chair of its Corporate Finance Advisory Panel.
Edward also contributes to organizations and the community in Hong Kong through his service to Hong Kong Red Cross and the Construction Industry Council. |
