華師話你知 - Request for Extension of Due Date for "M" Code Returns for Loss Cases

In response to SCAA's letter to the Inland Revenue Department ("IRD") dated 13 January 2025 requesting for further extension up to 28 February 2025 to file the 2023/24 Profits Tax Returns for Loss Cases, we are happy to report that the Commissioner of Inland Revenue has agreed to extend the due dates of filing from 31 January 2025 to 14 February 2025 (Friday) .  Please refer to the enclosed letter from the IRD agreeing to the extension.
 

The IRD has also reminded that the extended due date for taxpayers choosing e-filing of their tax returns will also be the same date.
